Honor

Is honor dead? I know folks in the military know about honor. I was trying to tell people that I trusted in their honor. They said, "You don't even know me, how can you trust my honor?" I replied, "I'll trust in your honor until you violate my trust." I know that it is probably an antiquated idea, but if we are all gonna protest together and work together to change the US for the better, then we need to have some basic trust in each other. We have to take a persons word as truth, until they violate the trust we have in their honor. AFT

Swine Flu: Truth

Well it turns out that the swine flu is NOT a hybrid of human, bird, and swine flu. Once again the truth prevails. There is no reason for anyone to panic, unless you personally know somebody that died from it. There are lots of rumors about this flu. Some are saying that the truth about the swine flu is that it is much more deadly than the media is reporting, I doubt it though. I even thought that it could be a plot by Obamabots to scare us into supporting nationalized healthcare. It is most likely just a natural occurence. Don't Panic! AFT

A Question or Two

I was talking with some gentleman in a chat room. I mentioned the quote, "Those who give up freedom for security deserve neither freedom nor security" One of the men there said that its "essential freedoms". I want to know what you think, what freedoms are essential and which are not essential. I think that they are all essential. We were talking about the Patriot Act which gives the gov the right to track you, read your email, and wiretap your phones. When this was passed it was just after 911 and everybody in congress voted for it, I think they voted for it because at a time like that no one wanted to be called un-American or against the president. Obama who bashes Bush with abandon(try saying that five times fast), has not mentioned it, has not wanted it revoked. Why has he not wanted it revoked? So comment away with your answers, I await your response.

The Sky is Falling!

I take a few days off to work on another project and all hell breaks loose, not really. Well the people of NY got a scare. Oh and that damned Swine Flu, watch out for that stuff, get your masks on. So what is there really to be afraid of, the answer is a whole hell of a lot. Obama and his army of senators and representatives, can do anything they want to this country, including selling us out right into a fascist global government. Imagine that fascist gov for a moment, no freedom, no religion, no choice, no privacy, no chance. That dark and fearsome world is coming. So we as a people who still have some freedom left, need to rise above fear, we have to overcome fear. When you overcome fear only then are you truly free. We have to dig deep inside ourselves and find that bravery, find courage, bring it out and use it. We have to take a stand now and fight for freedom. When I first set out to draft a new Declaration of Independence I was very fearful. I wasn't seeing the outcome, I was seeing the possible repercussions. I was concerned about prison, firing squad, loss of citizenship, a myriad of things. I had to find in myself courage, I had to put aside fear and work for the greater good. Now that the peaceful revolution has started, I feel more free than I ever have. I feel like I understand better all those history classes. I feel as though I am in good company. Please do not let fear win, our only hope is to put the power back in the hands of the people.

The revolution is not a conservative thing, its not a liberal thing, its not about the choices you made in the past, its about the choices you make now. The revolution is not about Obama, its about a long train of abuses and violations of our rights that goes back at least 50 years. We've endured the corruption of our government, the misuse of power, and the transgressions against our rights for far too long. Stand up and fight so that our grandchildren and great grandchildren can grow up in a better America than the one we grew up in.
