Look at that mess, tell me that's not a mega bureaucracy! I can't even untangle that, does Obama really believe this is best for us? I have been busy signing petitions and firing off emails at congress to stop this insanity, you should too! Congress.org will help you get those emails sent, and Grassfire.org has the petitions and faxes to stop the "leadership" from destroying our country! Now they've delayed the vote, to release the pressure from opposition, thus making it easier for them to cram this garbage down our throats. Independence Day

Happy 4th of July Americans! Today is the day we celebrate our independence from an oppressive government. Today we celebrate those who fought and died for our freedom. Freedom as I'm sure you know isn't free, it was payed for by the blood of the heroes, bought for us with their deaths, you do not get freedom by paying taxes. There is a catch, you can have these freedoms bought for you with blood, as long as you are willing to fight to keep them. So today I want all who read this to think about the differences between the freedoms enjoyed 100 years ago, and the freedoms we have today. I'm sure you'll see a difference. We lost the freedoms we weren't willing or wanting to fight for, and don't forget all the freedom we traded away in the name of security. Weapons weren't used to get us to relinquish our freedoms, no, it was words, words like wmd, and terrorists. We cowered away from those "scary things" and now those who fought and died for our freedoms have fought and died for nothing. They must be ashamed of us, for they gave all for freedom and we couldn't even give a little courage. AFT

I believe we've all heard the story, so here is my point of view. It's about damn time, reverse discrimination has been happening since Affirmative Action came into being. All men are created equal, no one is superior. If you earn a promotion, you should get that promotion, regardless of color. It is a great day in American history. The bad news is that if a case like this ever comes up again, Sotomayor will vote the other way. AFT

Out of the blue!

The picture above is my brother, he has lived in California for a long time now, we've never been close. Today I get an email from him, obviously he is an Obama supporter, and thinks I am a racist for being against Obama. He also threatened to show everyone the picture of him wearing a turban if I didn't stop doing what I do. Y'know I stopped caring about him years ago, he was a prick then and he still is. After all these years he decides to contact me, not to say, "Hi" or "Whats up" no he wants to publicly humiliate me because he is a bastard. Sorry Mom and Dad. But it is true. I worked as long as I could in life, but I got bad hips, I'm on disability, believe me I want to work. Even though I technically do not pay taxes, I still fight for those who do. This email from my brother only emboldens me, I know he thinks I've had an easy life, he thinks I am just a lazy asshole, but I don't care, I know what I do is right. I am going to continue fighting for your rights, I will continue pointing out what is wrong with this world, and I will continue rallying against heavy and unnecessary taxation. As for my brother, well he was never a brother to me, so I don't count him in my family anymore. ROB

N. Korea may target Hawaii

There is no evidence to support it, but I think it's worth mentioning anyway. This comes from the Japanese, who in my humble opinion are the real targets. Put yourself in Japans shoes, they are closer to N. Korea and more likely a target, but they want the U.S. fully engaged in spying on N. K. so that we can warn them of danger. Thats one possibility, or the Japanese have a few spies of their own floating around N. Korea and they actually know something and want to warn us without tipping thier hand. Either way, if I were in Hawaii, a bomb shelter business might do really well. Does anyone sell bomb shelters anymore? I might be interested in getting one for myself. Either way N. Korea is a threat to peace and prosperity all over the globe, and I believe no nation is safe. AFT

Iranian Freedom Fighters

American Free Thinker proudly supports the people of Iran in their quest to be free. I admit I've said some bad things about Muslims, only because it seems that Muslims hate Christian Americans, but I can look past that. I can see a free Iran in the future, and a free Iran will open the door to freedom for other countries, and it might even ring the bell for the death of terrorist orgs like the Mujaheddin. The American people could learn a little from these people, we've become complacent and have allowed our freedoms to be stripped away, one at a time.
